This notice explains the small set of cookies and tags we currently use, including the Google tag for Ads conversion measurement, and how to control them from your browser.

About cookies on this site

Cookies are small text files that a site can place on your device to remember preferences or measure usage. Local storage and session storage are equivalent browser-side mechanisms.

atlaspayment.org is largely static. We do not run behavioural retargeting, fingerprinting, or session-replay tooling. The cookies and tags we currently use are listed below.

What we currently use

  • Strictly-necessary: a single first-party session cookie set by our hosting platform to balance traffic across edge nodes. It carries no personal information and expires when the browser is closed.
  • Google Ads / Google tag: used for conversion measurement and ad performance reporting for tag ID AW-18120755101. Google may set or read cookies depending on browser settings, geography, and consent status.
  • Local storage: none beyond what your browser sets by default.
  • Other third-party trackers: none.

Measurement

We use the Google tag to understand whether advertising traffic leads to meaningful site actions. If we add broader analytics in the future, we will update this page first. Where consent is required by law, non-essential tags should be governed by consent controls.

How to control cookies

You can clear cookies and storage at any time through your browser’s privacy settings. The strictly-necessary cookie above is set per visit, not persisted, so blocking it has no lasting effect.

Google also provides advertising controls through its own account and browser-level settings. Browser-level blocking may affect conversion measurement.

On mobile browsers the equivalent controls live under Privacy or Site Settings. The Information Commissioner’s Office maintains a plain-language guide at ico.org.uk if you want a longer walkthrough.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page if we add, remove, or change a cookie. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be flagged here for at least 30 days before they take effect.
